Delightful display: Custom canvas print from Canvas Factory (review and giveaway)

I'm one of those grandmas who displays lots and lots of photos of my loved ones. All around my house. For this post, I began counting the number of pictures I have placed here and there. And stopped at thirty six. With the remainder of the main level plus the family room to go, I've chosen to just guesstimate here. I'm guessing there are fifty or so scattered about. On walls, bookcases, mantels, and more.

I delight in seeing my sweeties, old and young, in pictures. But with that many pictures to adore—and dust—I clearly don't need anymore.

Yet an offer to review—and give away! (more on that below)—a custom canvas print from Canvas Factory spurred me to say YES to another. Because my daughter Brianna's house has display space to spare, and I imagined how fabulous a beloved photo on canvas would look there.

I recently took a photo of Brianna's "boys"—husband Patrick and stepson James—that she adored, so that pic became my pick for my Canvas Factory experience.

The process of going from photo on my computer to canvas print for display was surprisingly simple, speedy, and hassle free. I visited CanvasFactory.com then...

Chose a size. Canvas Factory has a wide selection, from 8X8 squares to 48X32 rectangles plus panoramic options. I chose the 20X16 "standard size" (a $129 value) as that's what I was offered for the review—which is the size for the giveaway, too.

Uploaded my chosen photo.

Chose the desired "wrap". The three choices are Gallery, Mirror Image, or Coloured. I chose Mirror image, wherein the image is mirrored along the edges.

Chose the desired effect. Options for effects are quite similar to those available for altering social media photos. I chose the "gray" option for a rich B&W look.

Previewed my canvas then placed it in my cart.

In no time, I received an email from customer service with a "proof" for confirmation. I immediately confirmed it was perfect, mere minutes after that I received confirmation my order was in production, and an hour or two later was told my pretty picture would be shipped within three days.

Sure enough, three days later I received an email that my order was on its way. Another three days later and UPS was at my door with it.

I admired the piece, pleased with the quality.

The colors are vibrant, the canvas tight and sturdy, the wrap strongly secured on back (where there are hooks for hanging the canvas vertically or horizontally).

The print nicely wraps around the edges.

Though... next time I won't mirror text.

The back has a clean finish.

Then I promptly passed it along to Brianna. Who loved it.

The Canvas Factory customer service throughout the process was absolutely exemplary. The canvas print itself was impressive, and I was delighted to pass it along to my daughter. Who was equally delighted with being able to display her "boys" in her home.
