Getting old

The aging process for our sweet, pointer-pit Mickey seems to have kicked into turbo mode the past few months. Heck, our baby isn't even 10 years old yet.
Based on the quote above, I'm not quite sure what that says about Jim and me.
On second thought, maybe I am quite sure what that says.
I don't find much comfort in such.
