Here and now: June 11, 2015
This is my life.
On my mind...
Granny, my mother-in-law, whom I most recently wrote about in On swings, rainbows, and indigo endings. Today is her 85th birthday. Happy birthday, Granny!
Reading...
In addition to Jodi Picoult's Leaving Time on my nightstand, I'm reading Adair Lara's Naked, Drunk, and Writing via the Kindle app on my RealPad.
Watching...
Jim and I just this past week got hooked on BBC America's Orphan Black via OnDemand. Anyone else a fan? (We're only nearing the end of Season 1, so no spoilers, please!)
Working on...
Making a final decision on what to get Jim for Father's Day. I have one really fun idea or one more practical that he requested. Suggestions on which way to go?
Listening to...
Silence. No music, no television, no sound on my computer. Some days there's so much internal noise that external sounds must be silenced.
Looking forward to...
Tonight's screening of ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL in Denver. Jim and Brianna (and possibly Patrick) are joining me. There's a Q&A with the director and/or some of the cast afterward, so it should be a good time.
The last photo I took...
This on my phone, of a few of the flowers that actually flowered in my back yard. Yay!
Today's question:
What's up in your here and now?
