Here and now: June 4, 2015
My life, here and now...
On my mind...
How quickly the chilly, wet weather of May can turn to scorching temps the second the calendar flips to June. I'm not a fan of hot weather. Give me a max of 75 degrees and I'm happy. (In large part because my house has no A/C.)
Reading...
Megan had just finished Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult when I visited her a few weeks ago. She gave it to me to take home and read. Tonight I'll (finally) begin!
Watching...
This week I watched Bud (bloggy nickname), the seven-year-old son of Brianna's boyfriend, Patrick. We had a lot of fun, from Monday morning through today.
He considerately—without complaint—allowed me frequent breaks from the fun to tackle my work that needed to be done.
Working on...
Weed control. The wet May left me with knee-high weeds in some far reaches of the back yard. Bud thankfully helped with a big chunk of the weed pulling in the front.
Listening to...
Right this very minute while writing this it's Led Zeppelin, a song with a title I can never remember on a wi-fi station I can't recall either. (Yeah, some days are like that! But I get bonus points for knowing nearly all the lyrics, right?)
Looking forward to...
Going to see a movie at the theater this weekend. It's been a while. I'm debating between THE AGE OF ADELINE...
Or ALOHA...
Have you seen either? Recommend either?
The last photo I took...
This of Bud swinging on my upper-level, three-season porch.
Today's question:
What's happening in your here and now?
