July Fourth during Covid
I hope everyone managed to eek out at least a little fun over the holiday weekend, despite Covid restrictions continuing to muck things up.
Jim and I spent the Fourth of July with this little firecracker:
Benjamin and his family were fortunate to find an amazing spot in the mountains to park their camper for several days, and we had the good fortune of being invited to join them Saturday.
Festive flags and fireworks were (understandably) few in the national forest. Even so, watching Benjamin splash in the nearby river—while Dad and big bro floated down in inner tubes a time or two—and show off his private bunk in the camper made for a more enjoyable day than we’ve had in some time.
