Scenes from Summer 2022
Welcome back! I hope everyone enjoyed their summer, making memories and more with loved ones.
I was blessed with memorable moments with many a loved one since pressing pause on Grandma’s Briefs for the season.
I enjoyed lots of fun in the sun with Robert and Benjamin, thanks to their regular once-a-week day at Gramma’s house (click each image to enlarge):
I also had a 10-day stint with my Arizona grandsons, thanks to Mom and Dad taking a kid-free vacay for their anniversary and the wedding of a friend (click each image to enlarge):
Jim and I celebrated our own anniversary with a ride on the Royal Gorge Railroad. Hard to believe that in our four decades together, we had never ridden a train.
I got to hug several family members I hadn’t seen in a while …
And I spent a weekend in Savannah with my daughters for Brianna’s 40th birthday, taking in all I could, from up high …
down low …
and everywhere in between …
When I wasn’t away, I simply appreciated all the blessings that make up my ordinary days:
