On my mind...

Why won't my perennials bloom? I have literally hundreds of bulbs that sprouted, all around the yard, front and back. They've done so for several years but never, ever do they bloom. I researched, learned they needed more phosphorous. I added it. That along with the rainiest May ever has yet to produce flowers. They're spaced far apart. They get plenty of sunshine (except when it's raining), so why oh why do I not get flowers?

Reading...

Still reading Shadows Over Paradise by Isabel Wolff. I'm obviously not reading often enough; I started this (yes, good) book a few weeks ago.

Watched...

This video. And sobbed. Watched it again. Sobbed again. The tenderness of the couple toward one another touches my heart. Grab a tissue and watch.

Working on...

...biting my tongue and plugging my ears. Eventually extended family will stop the madness and hate. I hope and pray.

Listening to...

...Bubby's voice again and again as I enjoy this Hallmark recordable book he read and recorded for me during my visit last week.

Looking forward to...

Dinner this evening with Jim, Brianna and Patrick—a thank you for them watching our house and feeding our animals while we were visiting Bubby, Mac, and Jak. A thank you lunch (Cuban sandwiches!) with Andrea and Matt is scheduled for next week, as Andie split the job with Brianna.
