Pic of the week: Cautionary Tale

Let me preface the sharing of this picture by noting that Benjamin is fine. Though he will need a follow-up with an ophthalmologist once the swelling is gone.

Mommy Brianna’s Instagram post tells pretty much the whole story:

Oh, my. Sweet Benjamin’s itsy bitsy body in the background hurts my heart.

I say “pretty much” the whole story as one missing piece important to point out is that Benjamin had tied a smaller (harder) fidget toy to one end of the stretchy toy, and that is what flung back and hit him in the eye. <ouch!>

Bottom line: Beware the stretchy fidget toys, friends. Particularly when given to boys determined to boost the fling factor.
