Pie faced!

Happy Christmas week!

I gave my grandsons and their parents their Christmas gifts from PawDad and me when I visited them a couple weeks ago. One of the gifts I gave Bubby, Mac, and Jak was the game Pie Face. It was an instant hit with Mac, who exclaimed, "OH! I wanted this game for Christmas!" as he enthusiastically ripped off the wrapping paper.

Bubby — who doesn't like whipped cream, a main ingredient of Pie Face game play — wasn't all that thrilled at first. He was a trooper anyway and ended up enjoying being pie faced more than he thought he would (in large part because you need not eat the whipped cream "pie").

Mac, on the other hand, considers eating the whipped cream the very best part — and begged Gramma to play one more time right before we left for the airport for my departure home.

 

Bubby was in school during that final Pie Face round with Gramma and Mac, thus missing out on eluding the dreaded pie in the face. Jak, who is still a tad young for the Pie Face fun, didn't play with us at all during my stay but I'm sure he'll have a turn or two when I visit their house again in April.

I'm determined to get Mommy Megan to play with us in April, too, as she has yet to be pie faced! (And I guarantee it has nothing to do with that daughter of mine not liking whipped cream... especially when it's sprayed from a can! Right, Meg!?)
